AC Struggling Against the Fairfield Heat?

Fairfield summers run long and hot, and an air conditioner that was fine last year can give out in the middle of it. Freestone County also sits far enough out that waiting days for a part is a real problem. Hood Service Company works this area from our shop in Corsicana, and we size, service and replace HVAC systems built to hold up here. Get in touch and we will take a look.

What We See in Fairfield

The biggest pattern we see in Fairfield is simple overwork. Air conditioners here run for months without much of a break. That wears out compressors, capacitors and fan motors early, and a system that was never quite the right size for the house wears out faster still.

Fairfield has a wide mix of housing. Older homes often have ductwork that leaks or was never balanced, so some rooms never cool properly no matter how hard the unit runs. Newer builds outside town usually have better equipment, but farm and ranch dust gets into filters quickly and chokes airflow.

Humidity is the other half of the problem. When a system is oversized it cools fast, shuts off, and never runs long enough to pull moisture out of the air. The house feels clammy at 72 degrees and the thermostat gets turned down, which costs money and does not fix anything.

Why Fairfield Calls Hood Service Company

We are a family-owned company based in Corsicana, about 35 minutes from Fairfield, and we have been doing this since 2015. We install Trane equipment, we pull the permits the job needs, and we register your new system with the manufacturer so the warranty actually starts. Our Texas license is TACLB69144C and we are rated 4.4 on Google.

We also offer the Hood Comfort Club for scheduled maintenance, and financing through Wells Fargo, Synchrony and Snap when a replacement cannot wait for the right month.
